I was quite inspired by the 2020 Chopin Competition that is happening currently (delayed due to COVID). I decided to spend around 3 hours per day training Chopin pieces to maybe try out for 2025. Obviously, this is very ambitious, but I have fun playing piano anyway so might as well. Since August 25, 2021, I am currently working on 3 pieces: Op. 10 No. 1 "Waterfall", Op. 10 No. 12 "Revolutionary", and Op.25 No. 2 "The Bees". Of course, these are all etudes, but since the competition first round consists of 2 etudes, a choice of nocturne or etude, and one of scherzo, ballades, or fantasy, and some else. I decided to give etude a try since I do need to study piano since I am starting out.
